Passports Packed

As some of us get ready for summer the team are getting ready to get their snowboard game on in the northern hemisphere. With some resorts reporting a record start to the season it looks like the crew are in for an epic time, here is a breakdown of who is heading where.

Jye Kearney is going to be based in Tahoe and Mammoth this season to have the best of both powder and park.

Tom Pelley is going to be coaching at the TSC camp in Breckenridge before heading over to his home of last season Tahoe.

Mitch Allan is unpacking his bag in Mammoth again.

Chris de Campo is starting in Breckenridge with the TSC crew before joining Jye and Tom in Tahoe.

Nick Gregory is the mystery man one minute you will see him surfing Manly next you will see him riding the chairlift. Where Nick goes even he doesn't know...

Courtney Phillipson has just joined the team rocking Burton hardgoods she is hitting up Japan for a couple of weeks of powder before heading to the United States.

Hannah Trigger as you all know suffered a knee injury this Australian season therefore her summer is all about rehab.

So that you can feel that little bit of jealousy when you know someone is snowboarding and you are not the guys will be keeping See My Method up to date with their adventures.

Stylewars Update

The weather gods have not been to kind to Stylewars this year with the first 2 days canceled because of conditions. Charles Reid did managed to tie for first in the rail comp last night and Mark Sollors scored best trick so at least the boys have some dollars to pay off the bar tab they have been racking up.

Over at transfersnowboard.com they have a blog post which gives you an idea of what Nick Gregory, Jye Kearney, Chris Decampo, Charles Reid, Tom Pelley, Marko Grilc, Mikkel Bang and Mark Sollors have been up to.

Good Times Go Bad

Everyones favorite Burton rep Shirvo did not have the best morning. While riding with Nick Gregory and Mitch Allan (who sent us these exclusive iphone pics) Shirvo fell on a rock just under the snow and snapped his femur. To make matters worse the ski patrol thought it was just a dislocated hip and tried to yank it back into place.

We all wish Shirvo a fast recovery so that he is back riding in no time.

The day before the Cattleman's rail event a large posse of riders rode Mt Buller. The crew was made up of people who keep the wheels turning at Burton HQ here in Australia. Nick Gregory is working on an exciting new project this winter called I Heart Winter. I Heart Winter will give you an insight into the snow lifestyle of some of Australia's top snowboarders. These mini episodes will screen on Fuel TV and Mountain Watch during the season to keep you amped between trips to the hill.

Nick is in charge of this project from filming, editing, to coming up with who to cover, so you could say he has a bit on this season. We tagged along while he captured Jye Kearney and Tom Pelley for two separate up coming episodes.

Nick, Mitch And The South Coast

Nick Gregory and Mitch Allan along with Mitch's brother Jamie made a quick trip to the New South Wales south coast to take full advantage of the recent swell that hit. With a couple of scary moments and a broken board or two the guys still managed to score some quality waves. With these swells hitting it must be a sign that winter is on the way.
